PAL Ambassador Program: Philanthropic Action Leaders

The Greater Pharr Chamber of Commerce PAL Ambassador Program is designed to strengthen member engagement, promote Chamber involvement, and build meaningful connections throughout our business community.

PAL stands for Philanthropic Action Leaders: a group of dedicated Chamber members who volunteer their time, energy, and leadership to support Chamber initiatives, welcome new members, and serve as positive representatives of the Greater Pharr Chamber of Commerce.

Our PAL Ambassadors play an important role in helping create a strong, connected, and active Chamber network. Through their involvement, they help ensure that members feel welcomed, informed, supported, and encouraged to take full advantage of the opportunities available through the Chamber.

What PAL Ambassadors Do

PAL Ambassadors support the Chamber in a variety of ways, including:

• Welcoming and engaging new Chamber members.
• Attending and supporting ribbon cuttings, grand openings, mixers, and networking events.
• Assisting with member outreach, retention, and relationship-building efforts.
• Promoting Chamber events, programs, and initiatives within the community.
• Helping create a welcoming and professional environment at Chamber functions.
• Serving as a visible and supportive presence for Chamber members.
• Providing feedback and insight to help the Chamber better serve its membership.

As we progress, several committees will be established to assist in the chamber’s efforts of hosting special events and government affairs. Your involvement and experience will be crucial in making sure our programs and efforts are successful. We will keep you abreast of any and all volunteer activities that are available through the chamber and will keep you informed when those opportunities are available.
